No power management in System Settings

My System Settings seem to be missing Power Management. I tried a search on Power and it found nothing. How can I get my Power Management back?

If you will excuse the presumptuous reality check: did you go to the Advanced tab? Unfortunately, search only covers the current tab, and Power Management is "advanced".

it's not in Advanced (on my system, anyway)

The search appears to cover both General and Advanced, since it yields 0 hits on
General and 0 hits on Advanced.

      Under Advanced, there is:
      System Administration
      Disks and Filesystems
      System Service
      Login Manager
      Windows Applications
      Advanced User Settings
      Audio Applications
      KDE Resources
      Service Manager
      Session Manager

      That's it!

This is for the KDE 3.5 remix with Jaunty. It actually was working correctly for a while, I think, but it isn't now.

Oh, you're talking about KDE 3.5? In KDE 4.2.3 Power Management is under Advanced -> System, and the search only finds it when I'm on the Advanced tab already.
