    Should firefox be doing this?

Well, i got my free Kubuntu 9.04 CD today ( ) and installed it fresh, the install went smoothly, and everything runs fine, until i run firefox, namely flash.

If i try to go on youtube, my entire system will slow down immensely, leaving me to think it could lock up at any moment.

I then did a test, went into my terminal and used the top command to see how much resources firefox was taking up. I am running a duel-core 2Ghz processor, and its taking up 63%, but only when flash is running.

I was just wondering if its meant to use that much, and if not, how can i make it use less?

My computer used to slow down to a crawl on the Yahoo home page, which uses a lot of flash. I ended up not using that as a home page to avoid it. When 9.4 came out I did a fresh install and the problem went away. I don't know what it was, but it was definitely something with flash. If I removed flash from my computer the page was static, but the computer fast. Weird thing was it only seemed to be a problem with that web page.

Anyone ever come across this and solve the problem?
