Launch apps with Windows key + another key?

On Windows, I've grown fond of Qliner Hotkeys. This little program lets you assign keyboard app launchers. For example:

Windows key + i (internet) launches Firefox.
Windows key + m (mail) launches Thunderbird.
    etc.

Is there an equivalent for Kubuntu?

    cheers

Yup. Go into the Menu Editor by right-clicking on the Kickoff menu. Then go to the desired application, click the "Advanced" tab, and assign your shortcut there.

You can also assign keys to commands via System Settings > Input Actions.

    Enjoy.
