How to disable popup window when new a device is plugged in?

Hi folks,

I'd really like to know how to disable the annoying popup window that appears when a new USB disk or CDROM is detected. This is the window that appears in the lower righthand corner with the title "Devices recently plugged in".

Can you just remove the widget? Right click on it and choose "Remove..."

The short answer is yes that's precisely how to do it.

Now that I have had time to look at it there is only one system that was not working as expected and now it seems to be back in a consistant state. So I'm not going to worry about it.
