OK .... first .... Jaunty is running AWESOME!!!!!
In my zeal to try some new things out on this fantastic new distro ...... I think I may have screwed some things...
1 - I tried out the Avant Windows Manager ....... and to my horror ..( I wasn't paying attention here) it installed gnome ...... what the heck
Warning in the Kubuntu guide maybe?? anyway
I seem to have been stuck with some gnome residuals .... one of which is the loss of radio buttons and boxes in certain programs and certain web pages (google for example has no search box .... I can type in it .... but no search box) .... my compiz icon pull down is entirely black ...
I know what your thinking .... there is a theme issue somewhere ..... I have played with my themes till my eyes were blue ..... no luck ...
Does anybody have any clue?
