KPackageKit Error !

hay all you Jackalope's.........

Just did a distro upgrade from hardy 8.04 and am now a happy Jaunty Jackalope

WOW this thing looks good all the eye candey and all and it's not runing to bad on my old box

700Mhz CPU 383 RAM i810intell graficks .....................and runing KDE4............well go figure

However the KPackageKit wont do eneything withought the error................................

The backend took too much time to process the synchronous request - you need to fork!

adept got me hear but all I can find now is KPackageKit ...............................so how do I fork..............

hummm that sounds like the workings of a joke..................LOL

I think there are some bugs in kpackage kit, you could always install adept-it's still there:

sudo apt-get install adept

Cool I just wanted to be shure installing adept wouldent brake KPackagKit!!

and it seams this error onley hapens the SECOND time KPackagKit refreshes .....so if I open it and find a app. and install it dose install but gives the error after instalation when it refreshes the list!!

but the install is ok
