Amarok 1.4 had the option to use ALSA, pulseaudio, ... as I recall, but Amarok2 gives you no choice that I can see.

I suppose Amarok 2 uses the KDE Multimedia settings? Then it could be configured (somewhat) through System Settings.

V2.0.2 crashed so often here that I rolled back to v1.4.10. It may not have all the gee-wiz features, but at least its solid.
