Unable to play 2 audio source at same time

    Hi there,

I used to be able to play 2 audio sources at the same time but now with Kubuntu Jaunty I just can't play Amarok (using I think Pulse Audio) and let's say an imbedded video in Firefox.

    How can I fix that?

i had this problem since i installed JJ up untill just now when i checked to make sure it really was still broken, but now it works i didn't change ne thing, last boot it didn't work and i would have to kill amarok to have sound from ne thing..this being said my sound is far from what i would call stable it just stops working some times and i have to reboot (cause i don't know how to restart the sound server). the only diffrence between this boot and yesterdays boot is there were updates yesterday(none for audio stuff that i remember) and this boot it did a file system check (cause it has booted a bunch of times since installing JJ)

I found out what it is...

The problem seems to be the Pulse Audio server

And this is what I did:

      sudo apt-get purge pulseaudio*
      sudo apt-get autoremove

      reboot

      And now everything is perfect!!
