'bad' gstreamer plugins????

[bernieszu]

kpackagekit says it has blocked an update (details below). Why are these plugins 'bad'? What does this mean and should I do anything? I know there is some issue about kpackage kit being buggy or not as good as adept, but it seems to be the default for jaunty jackelope, should I rely on it for updates? Thanks,

The name "bad" is just a name, doesn't mean that they're not good. Don't worry about it.

About the blocked updates, my guess is that updating creates conflict with some other package you're using. In any case, these messages do not stop you from installing or upgrading, and this problem should resolve once all packages pick up with the new version of gstreamer, so you can just ignore them...
