    No graphical package manager

I upgraded from 8.04 to 9.04 and now after a while I'm beginning to understand that the reason why I can't find a package manager is that it's just not there. Adept seems to have been removed. The help files mention something called Kpackagekit but that's not installed either. I assume it should be?
The good thing is now I know how to use Aptitude, but some (even) more konsole-shy user might have been in trouble. This kind of thing really shouldn't happen.

There's no such thing as "add and remove software" in my System settings menu or anywhere else in the application launcher. What's that supposed to do, launch Kpackagekit? That case Kpackagekit should be installed, but it wasn't until I installed it manually.

So I don't really have a problem, I just think this is very strange. I didn't get any error messages during upgrade except that I had to resume download several times.
