Kbluetooth won't let me turn off my laptop.

When KBluetooth4 is in the system tray my Dell XPS M1530 laptop hangs up while shutting down. It does this in a place that looks like it's off but the power light is still on and it gets real hot in my laptop case. Toasted Dell anyone?

    Any ideas?

    Does anybody else see this?

    Thanks in advance,

kde has had a problem with shutting down kdm and X on some laptops/PCs.

I have this problem with any apps minimised in the taskbar, it should just shut down and remember the session for next time, but kdm/X just hangs. Also kbiff for email is not restarting in system tray after a reboot.

/etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc is the config file that controls how kdm shuts down, there is an option to fix this, a bit of googling needed.

I have posted a fix for this on this forum. It include editing the /etc/init.d/halt and /etc/init.d/reboot scripts. Searching should bring it up.
