Installed Kmess, but no reference in menu, can only run in konsole

How can I install Kmess so it appears in the menu ?

Did you install from the package manager or from somewhere else? I was feeling lazy and just installed it from the repos and it shows up as a menu entry just fine for me, both in KDE4 and in LXDE.
