Accessing remote locations

In KDE 3.5.10, I really liked being able to browse to remote filesystems attached to my computer via fish, but I can't find any such functionality in KDE 4.2. Is there a functionality equivalent to knetattach in KDE4? If so, how do I find it, and how do I add remote places to my quick access menu?

Try Konqueror. I haven't tried the fish protocol for ssh in the latest release but I'm accessing windows shares. Konqueror can do a lot, I wish the documentation was a little better. The URL syntax is similar no matter what protocol you are using and it supports a lot of protocols through KIO plugins. The syntax I use for windows shares on my corporate domain is...

smb://<domain>\<user>@<host name or ip address>/<folder path>
linux && bash = "the future"
