    Alt-F1 application launcher in Jaunty

    Hello,

I'm very new to Linux, so please be gentle! I had Kubuntu 8.10 installed on an Acer Aspire One, all working pretty well. I've upgraded to 9.04 and absolutely love it. One one slight glitch: the Alt-F1 shortcut to launch the Kickoff application launcher refuses to work. The shortcut is definitely set up under the keyboard settings, and various other keyboard shortcuts (including alt-F2) are working just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

Here the "Switch to classic Menu Style / Switch to Kickoff Menu Style" change is the problem.

If i change the menu style: Right click K > "Switch to classic Menu Style / Switch to Kickoff Menu Style" the Kickoff/Classic menu will forget that there is a keyboard shortcut.

A fix (?) is to set the shortcut again: Right click K > Application Launcher Menu Settings > Keyboard Shortcut > Alt+F1 > OK...
