    Saving windows sizes and placement

Does anyone know how to get windows to remember their size and placement?

I am really enjoying running 9.04 and do not feel like booting into MS Win at all :-) There are a couple of applications that will force me to do it sometimes, but I want to do as much in Kubuntu as possible. Little by little, I am getting things right.

One thing to everyone that read this: I am impressed by your knowledge and your willingness to help. This is a forum to be proud of!

And to the developers and those putting together the distro: You are doing an important job, and you are doing it well! My thnaks to all of you!

I am trying to get a lot of people around me here to run Kubuntu for security reasons. A lot of people I know use internet banking, and with the amount of viruses and other malware here in Brazil, they really need a more secure alternative.

Actually, a good marketing campaign could focus on using Kubuntu (either the Live CD or installed on the system) as a safe environment for internet banking. That could make a real change for a lot of people.
