I have long felt the need to store my passwords in a little more organized way than just a bunch of textfiles.
Among other things I work with websites, and as I do not like short or easy passwords, I need to store them somewhere to remember them. So in MS Win, I have started to use KeePass. It is open source, there is a Linux version and I was hoping that would do the trick.
But after installing Kubuntu, I realise Kubuntu has it's own password manager - the Wallet. So my question is how to integrate the two? For me, it is not enough to export/import. I need to use this all the time and add to it all the time.
How do you solve this? Any suggestions? Is there another tool, maybe, that integrates better with Wallet? I need to have it available on MS Win and I have to be able to carry the database with me on a memory stick.
Edit: When I search for KeePass in KpackageKit, I only get an older version. There is a 0.4 version out of KeePassx and I would like to install it. Any solution other than downloading it from their site?
