Single click select URL in Firefox - tip

Yes, I admit it. I have spent way to long time in MS Windows land :-) But actually MacOS land as well. And then some time in Linux land.

During this time, I have come to like the way that Firefox behaves in MS Win. Especially that a single click selects the whole URL. These days, I do not use it too much because I use the CTRL-L shortcut instead, and CTRL-K to choose search.

BUT - in case this is something you would like to change, here is the recipe:

Type about:config in a new browser tab
Click the "I'll be careful, I promise" button
Search for clickSelectsAll - actually, after typing click, you should be able to find browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll
To set it to True, just doubleclick on it
    Done
