I want to know how to configure Prolink H0601 modem for Kubuntu .......
please help me..............
the modem is not detected by kubuntu....why is that ? are there kubuntu drivers for this modem ? how can i configure it ? ................
please help....its urgent..............

Could you please check the name of the modem? I googled for it and there are 0 hits. Also, could you please type lspci -vv in "konsole" and report the output?

THe Usb modem model is ----> Prolink H9601

Unfortunately, this is difficult, but it also depends on downloading some stuff, does the computer have other means to reach a network (mostly, a wired, ethernet connection)
