Windows Won't Connect When Rebooting from Kubuntu

I have a Broadcom BCM4401 network adapter. Kubuntu connects just fine, but if I reboot into Windows XP I can't get a connection. Leave the computer off overnight, boot into Windows XP and the connection works fine. Is Kubuntu setting something? Any help appreciated.

I'v had the same prob. a reboot and no wirless...........a shutdown 2-3 seconds and then start up and wirless is fine........dosent mater what distro of linux reboot kills it....................................my thought's are the card it's self dosent reset right without powering off............this is the same for the desktop or the lappy.

and on the lappy you can see that the power light stays on when rebooting

I've actually had to pull the batteries from laptops to reset conditions on some older machines; mere power down isn't necessarily enough.
