    [SOLVED] wireless problems

I've tried many of the guides and chat and I can't seem to get wireless working. I'm in 9.04 and I've tried both ndiswrapper and native and neither seems to work. b43-fwcutter is installed, wireless is enabled (based on the taskbar networking icon) but the wireless tab in the settings there is grayed out.

    Here's some command line output:

    me:~$ sudo lshw -C network
    *-network

    Re: wireless problems

Could you please try this? (disable, re enable)

    http://www.bluebottle.net.au/blog/20...ntu-904-jaunty

If it still fails, could you please show us the output of sudo lsmod?

If this is an upgrade, it might be blacklisted here: /etc/modprobe.d/

          lmilano is a life-saver

and for record purposes , bcm4312 chips dont need the b43-cutter package. wl driver works just fine, except u may have to load it manually via /etc/modules.
