shutdown hangs in "deconfiguring network interfaces"

Hi,

I had this problem last two days.

I was playing around with settings concerning the audio and the grub options (removing quiet and splash that also hanged the shutdown), I guess (and hope) they have nothing to do with the current hangs that arise when the following sentence is shown in the shell:

deconfiguring network interfaces
