    One Minor Issue

So after successfully installing and dual booting Kubuntu with XP on my desktop, my project for today has been to get the wirless working.

My wireless card is a DLINK DWL-G132 USB card. I spent the majority of today working with it, and I FINALLY got Kubuntu to recognize wlan0.

My only problem now is it keeps asking me for the network key. I have installed wpa_supplicant through the Package Manager, but it keeps asking me....

Anyone know of a solution? And does anyone know of a guide that can list the steps to get this wireless card working, just so I can check against it for any missed steps? I've been throwing so many commands into Kubuntu I wouldnt' even be able to backtrack and write the steps I took down.

I hope to get a response soon,
    kanwar.

Go to System Settings then Network Settings then Network Management - Wireless ans set up your
    wireless connection.

Thank you for the response. I have tried to do that but it keeps asking me to enter the network passcode, even though I have entered it many times. Should I post the readout from ndiswrapper -l or ifconfig or the message dump?

Did you Set up The correct WEP key. 9.04 uses kde wallet to store passwords.

I believe so. After alot of messing around I decided to uninstall network manager and install Wicd. I also decided to disable the encryption on my network for the time being (the signal is so weak no one could steal it anyways).

So right now I am typing from my Kubuntu install with wireless internet. All is well. Thanks GilGib for your posts.
