Installed a lexmark X1150 printer on Vista Desktop, installed kubuntu on Desktop and Laptop, set it to share printer, booted up kubuntu on Desktop done a printer configuration for the lexmark printer, but when i press print in word it dose not print it, can some one please help me

I'm not entirely clear on your situation.
Your printer is connected to a Vista desktop, but your Kubuntu machines can't connect to it?
Your printer is on your Kubuntu desktop, but Vista can't connect to it?
Either of the above, but it claims to be connected, with all your print jobs somehow disappearing before they print?
Incidentally, when I read "Lexmark" I thought "uh-oh"... they're generally pretty terrible for Linux support. However, your model seems to be supported: http://openprinting.org/show_printer...=Lexmark-x1150
