Plasma Problem

Got widget problems, most of my widgets get problem when I add them on the screen, in installation no problems but cant run them. After I make dist-upgrage my widgets was deleted. When I installed them again every time when I try to add some to my desktop i got this message:

This object could not be created for the following reason: Could not create a python ScriptEngine for the gmail-plasmoid widget.


Some one have an a idea what is going on ?

Maybe there is a specific solution to your problem, I have only a general advice that solves most plasma problems.

1. Press Ctrl+Esc, kill plasma, your desktop will disappear
2. Press Alt+F2. It will launch KRunner, run dolphin from it and rename .kde directory in your home. System will create the new one.
3. Run plasma from KRunner.
You will get fresh desktop like after upgrade to the new version and you will lose some settings, if you have done some. You can save something from the old .kde, for example kmail files.
