    [SOLVED] installing on a 16g flashdrive

    I have looked through the site and have tried to find out if it is possible to do a full install on a 16gig flashdrive. Seems that it should be doable but I would like some input before trying. Has anyone done this before? I think that it would be preferable over a live setup as you could have your home directory, /swap, /boot and any other dir that you would want.

      Yes.
      This is fairly straightforward, just like installing Kubuntu to any hard drive. There are a few details (identifying the drives correctly), but easy. I haven't done it since 7.04, but it should apply to recent releases of Kubuntu:
