From Kubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu Studio

Hello all,

I am a new member and I just installed Kubuntu 9.04 to my notebook.

I would like to upgrade from Kubuntu to latest Ubuntu studio.

I have done it in the past several time when I was using Kubuntu 8.10

But I am unable to follow the same steps for this migration.

Can somebody give me a simple step by step guide?

Uhhh, you mean it isn't just "sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop" anymore? That seems to work just fine on my spare stock Jaunty computer sitting behind me (I literally swivelled my chair, went "kdesudo adept manager" and installed the ubuntustudio-desktop package; it pulled in everything else just fine, as a good metapackage should).

I just checked a machine with 9.04 and Ubuntustudio is listed in the synaptic package manager so it's only a click away.

Thx I am trying to install the Ubuntu studio desktop package from the add/remove programs. If it does not give me the results I will try the previous suggestion using sudo.
