    Desktop Icon size?

I've reinstalled the KDE4 version of 9.04 to replace the previous 9.04 KDE3 remix. My eyes need a little help, so how in the world can I make the desktop icons larger? KDE3 allowed this by setting the pixel size. KDE4 also has these settings, but they make no difference whatsoever. I am using the nvidia restricted driver, but I was using this with the KDE3 version also, and it worked fine. I'm beginning to think this is a bug with KDE4. Any suggestions?

System Settings -> Appearance -> Icons... Advanced tab: Use of icon: Dektop: 48?

Ignore and see a real solution below...

      Hmm - here:

Single icons at the desktop - you could drag them as big as you want to.

...and the "Folder View" has the icon settings.

Yeah, Rog is pointing out something that I forgot to mention.. there are actually two kinds of icons on the desktop... old-school-ish icons, and plasmoid based icons. Kind of confusing.

And my suggestion apparently doesn't work for either (why I didn't try it first is a mystery!).

        Thanks Rog.

Thanks guys. I did not know about the drag to zoom feature. That took care of the problem.
