Uninstall Kubuntu (instaled on an extern HDD)

Hi guys i recently installed Kubuntu 0.04 on an exteral HDD of 160 GB... Ive recised it so i have half for Kubuntu n' a half for saving my stuff..
tHe problen that ive got its that when i try to start my computer (LAPTOP), without my extern HDD plugged in the grub tells me that an herror has ocurred i think is 12 or 21 well i want to uninstall Kubutu so i can use my other O system Thats WinVista :-X :P So i wonder if u can help ,me
By the way my Kubuntu freezes n the mouse still working, n it gots no sound

Oh-oh - I think you let Grub write on the MBR of the internal hard drive.

Can you boot a Windows installation CD and choose "Repair", then get a DOS prompt and issue "fixmbr"?

Da problem that windows is preloaded so i dont got ant WinVista DVD

We have some members who know how to fix this without the XP CD, so hopefully, you'll start gathering some links. I haven't checked these for awhile, but:

well but the other question is that my o system is vista n' i got some trouble with kubuntu it freezes n do nothin but the mouse still works
