Alternate downloads for the jaunte kde3 remix?

The pearsoncomputing site has already exceeded its bandwidth. Is there an alternate site or a torrent for it?

And does anyone know if the cd is set to use as an upgrade rather than fresh install?

It was working on - i think - Saturday night, but not on Sunday, and was up-and-running again early this morning.... perhaps if you try tomorrow...

The only option i noticed was to install, but to be honest i never looked....

The only icon on the desktop was the installer.

It's still gone today. It may have been a montlhy cap.

Now that's odd . I think the machine has even rebooted since I last checked that page.

I've got it downloading by the torrent. Several times faster than the pearson site, but I don't recall ever seeing my upload and download speeds being the same before

It seems to have work.

Admittedly, I used a rather crude method to remove kde4 (dpkg -l | sed -e "s/....//" -e "\ .*//" |grep "kde.*:r"| xargs dpkg -r, within script, then grep typescript for "depends on", sed some more, repeat)

I thought it would. Your removal is crude but effective. I love linux, well, ok, Unix , or unix like...

I think that
sudo aptitude purge libqtcore4
would have the same effect.
