[solved] Fonts now look very bad...

Hello all.
Im using Kubuntu 9.04 Amd64 and i dont know why my fonts now have a very bad looking. It was after i installed something, it changed automatically the font. Dont remember if it was after installing flash or other stuff. But what i know is that i tried everything, tried other type fonts and all look awful...

What can i do to get fonts look good like when you have when you running fresh installed kubuntu? Anyone got ideas? Because all fonts are bad now...

I don't see anything wrong with the fonts at all.

there is obviously less hinting in your fonts after the install. Whenever something like that happens to me, it can be traced to the offending package writing a ~/.fonts.conf file. Removing it often works for me.

Thank you so mutch ssri. It really worked! I have delete the files in the folder .fontconfig and .fonts in home folder and after a restart it really worked

No problem. Although you only needed to restart X (logoff, ctrl-e), which you might have done. Glad to hear that it worked. Now, you should place "[SOLVED]" in the subject line of this thread.
