canon 2900 'pstocapt'

hi,

i tried to install a network printer for my kubuntu 9.04.
after selecting the .ppd file for installation, it gave me the error: "Missing driver. Printer requires the 'pstocapt' program but it is not currently installed. Please install it before using this printer".

anyone knows how to get 'pstocapt' installed?

i may not have the network printer setup, but the error no more appear after i put in all the pstocapt files into the cups directory.
