Shut Down Issue

Laptop Acer 5520 dual AMD 64 bit

When I shut down it goes through normal processand then I get this screen

*Will now halt
halt: Unable to iterate IDE devices: No such file or directory

It then just sits there in that state until I press the enter button. It then immediately shuts off.
