my audio and internet just don't mix

i'm currently trying to get to listen to music and watch videos on the internet.my desktop noises work, but internet audio doesn't. i've installoed flash,shockwave,and even java.nothing helps. i'musing a Creative sound blaster audigy 2 ZS gamer card model sb0030 7.1 ch with firewire onboard. any help?

Is it a fresh install or an upgrade? I remember older versions of the flash plugin requiring in some cases additional packages for the sound to work. Was that your case and you have upgraded?

If you can listen to the desktop sounds that likely means that your audio is working fine and the problem lies in the flash plugin instead.
