I'm using a Sony PS-LX300USB turntable to try to record my records.
The turntable appears as /dev/dsp1, and I access it in preferences as
ALSA:USB ALSA CODEC : USB Audio (hw 1:0).
I've tried the playback setting as both the same and as ALSA
efault
Either way, it almost always stops recording after about 2 or 3 seconds (it just went 4, which is unusual.
I'm also not getting audio out while I do this.
When it stops, the record button still shows as "pushed", and the pause button can still push and unpush.
I did get a single session las night where it actually continued running, and I recorded an entire LP.
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here.
