Dropped connection to Microsoft Bluetooth mouse using Kbluetooth4

Am using Jaunty and Kbluetooth4 on an IBM Thinkpad T43p.
I can connect to my Bluetooth mouse and it functions normally.
If I don't use the mouse for about 15 minutes or if I reboot, the mouse no longer functions.
(I can reconnect again with the KBluetooth Device Manager).
How can I keep the Bluetooth connection to the mouse permanently?
