    No flash audio

I just installed the new version, and there is no audio on websites like Youtube, but I can get it from an audio player. I saw the other post from someone else, but that didn't help. I'm thinking that the problem is from pulse audio, because when I test it through Computer>System Settings>Multimedia there is no sound at all.

Just install kubuntu restricted extras, and after that open kmix (lower right of the screen) option, in mixer, increase PCM volume as loud as you needed, hope this will help you..

I think that this is just common sense. I read a story about someone getting permanent hearing damage because she was using earphones when she opened a video file that was recorded with an unusually high volume level. She was used to have the volume levels adjusted to their music collection, on average recorded on a much lower volume level. The few seconds that she took to lower the volume were enough.

So the most sensible thing when setting up from scratch the system configuration is to lower the volume at minimum. Not sure if the developers took this decision based on health/safety concerns, however.
