    Where is fglrx?

I Just updated form 8.10 to 9.04... it seems to work well, but one thing is really bugging me:

    There is no fglrx driver?

    I have a Radeon 9600XT-TD, and i used fglrx on 8.10,
but 9.04 does not shows any ati driver in the package list (only the Xorg ones)

    Why drop the ati driver?
My card is half working now >

The Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jacalope is using the xserver 1.6. So the AMD was telling that: > AMD Catalyst 9.4 Finally Brings X Server 1.6 Support BUT AMD Dropping R300-R500 Support In Catalyst Driver.

      I think that the 9600XT is R350.
      Before you edit, BACKUP !
