Can you guys please tell me if I download kubuntu 9.04 for my 12 inch powerbook g4 is all the hardware supported? Are there any hardware related issues? And most importantly, can i dual-boot it?

The first issue that comes to mind, as far as I can see, is that you should be certain to download the PowerPC version if there even is one. Do not use the AMD and i86 architecture versions of Linux.
People who know more than me will need to answer your question in detail...
P.S. An easy way to see if your hardware is supported is to just pop in a live CD and do a test run!
