    Can't see the partition

My Acer laptop dual boots with another Linux distro, While grub has found the partiton and allows me to boot to either OS, when I am in jaunty I can't see the other distro's partition (s\h)da5. Now I know I have to edit the fstab file but I am unsure of the UID details used in Kubuntu, can somebody point me in the direction of a howto for this please.

Yep -- you need to mount that partition before you get to use it. That will be #15 on the link in my signature.
