Broken Sound with HDA NVidia (STAC92xx Analog)

My sound no longer works in Jaunty which worked fine in Intrepid.... According to Multimedia, I have "HDA NVidia (STAC92xx)" and when I click test, there is nothing! (and as far as I can tell it is not on mute,), there is also a PulseAudio option, and when I click that I get "The Audio Device "PulseAudio" Does not work falling back to HDA NVidia (STAC92xx)"

If there's anything more I need to post let me know.

I am experienceing audio problems as well and have a thread going on sound missing in some applications. Is your sound completely gone, or is it just some things?
