    Nice touch - volume buttons

    Just discovered a nice little thing.

    On my Dell XPS M1210 I have a row of buttons in the front of the PC. Mute, volume down, volume up, play/pause, ff, rew and stop.

    The three first buttons that control sound actually works! I tried the other buttons with Amarok, but unfortunately, they did not work. Would have been pretty cool.

    Anyway - nice that the volume buttons work, though!

    You can probably make them work.
    K->System Settings->Global Keyboard Shortcuts
    Then select amarok if they are inside amarok or others like kwin if you want to start amarok or kmail or whatever.

      Yesss!!

      You are absolutely right, sir! They are working perfect now!

      Thank you for that tip.

      The place to go to is actually System Settings>Keyboard & Mouse>Global Keyboard Shortcuts

      I chose Amarok from the drop-down menu. Then clicked on the function I wanted to change, selected Custom in stead of the default choice and pressed on the button I wanted to use (press Play to use that button to play).

      Very nice!!
