    adept package manager

    Hello,

OK now, I must be dense or whatever, but how the h*ll do I see a list of the packages with the adept package manager? I have clicked every button but cannot get a list to show!

    Any help will be appreciated!
    Thank You,
    BobbyS

Doesn't answer the question by BobbyS, but is the unasked for solution.

BobbyS: Adept Package Manager in KDE 4 (current w/Intrepid), in a word, sucks! Installing Synaptic Package manager as suggested by dibl will give you the control you expect and want.

Thanks for the quick reply! And I totally agree adept sucks.....especially in 8.10

This is a new install. Is Synaptic in the installed packages? If not, what I am trying to do with adept is get ndiswrapper installed so I can get an internet connection. This is what I have to use for my wireless adapter.

        Thanks
