The superfluous entries are annoying. I have tracked the source:
The problem is how kbuildsycoca4 deals with kresources.desktop, I assume. Can anyone explain how to convince kbuildsycoca4 to behave properly?
Of course there is always kmenuedit, but using that is hiding the problem instead of solving it.
