kde 4.2.1updates unavailable

On my desktop 4.2.1 updates showed up automatically, but on my laptop I am not offered the kde 4.2.1 updates where I have 4.2.0 running. I've tried all the apt-get commands (update, upgrade, clean, etc) .

I did a force install earlier from /var/spool;/apt where I did a dpkg -i *, so I guess that clobbered my updates database.

Any ideas how I can us apt-get to upgrade kde 4.2.1

Have you checked to make sure you have the same sources listed in your /etc/apt/sources.list files? You probably have to have deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu intrepid main
as one of your sources to upgrade to 4.2.1 since it was just released recently.
