i guess it's more kde problem, but hope it has a simple solution. Lately I wanted to give a try some simple arcade games - i tried some which work in a windowed mode ( i.e. balder 2d, some dosbox games). The problem is that when i press some key for a while ( like right cursor ) everything is slowing down ( along with the sound effects ) and finally freeze until I release a key. That's odd, I've never had such issues with kubuntu 8.04 & kde 3.
I'd be grateful for any hints on that
