    install plasmoid-am4rok

    Hi,

I'm running KDE 4.2 and Amarok2. I wanted to install the amarok plasmoid am4rok but i keep getting depency issues.
It keeps telling me to run dpkg --configure -a and apt-get -f install which removes the plasmoid again
How can i get it on my system?

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Re: install plasmoid-am4rok

in the console it actually tells me this:
    Code:
    root@reg-desktop:~# apt-get install plasmoid-am4rok
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
    that package should be filed.
The following information may help resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
plasmoid-am4rok: Depends: libplasma2 but it is not going to be installed
    E: Broken packages
libplasma2....hmm what does this mean? Do i need to install it separately

      Re: install plasmoid-am4rok

You are trying to install a plasma widget (plasmoid) that is compiled with the libplasma2, that is KDE 4.1. Earlier > KDE 4.1 plasmoids with the KDE 4.2

KDE 4.2 is using libplasma3. Maybe this is still working > Topic: Jaunty Jackalope plasmoids with the Intrepid Ibex (KDE4.2).

The Jaunty has > Package: plasma-widget-playwolf
Controller and a visualizer plasma widget for Amarok

PlayWolf is a plasma widget that allows you to control Amarok. It also displays information about the currently playing song, such as the title, artist, and album, as well as the album artwork and duration.
      At the KDE-Look > PlayWolf
