[Solved]Check boxes not completely being rendered.

    Image attached.

How do I resolve the problem of check boxes not completely being rendered? I have tried various settings, to no avail.

    Thanks,

Re: Check boxes not completely being rendered.

I have upgraded to KDE 4.2, and the checkboxes are still not being completely rendered. Does anyone have a solution for this please?

I have the same problem but usually scrolling or mouseover'ing a bit solves it
and I usually can still check (click) those.

It has the appearance of being "compressed" in the horizontal dimension. In other words, it's not just a rendering issue, there's something going on with the "fit" of the page into the window frame, or something like that.

Specifically, the right edges of the boxes have the appearance of being chopped off.

If you play around with some of the themes/settings in System Settings -- Appearance -- GTK Styles and Fonts, you may find selecting a different GTK style will fix this.

Thanks for the advice. I had read somewhere in this forum that QT4 was the way to go, but based on what you said, I tried "Raleigh", and it is now fixed.

                Thanks again,
