KDE 4.1 -> Taskbar : application event notification (flashing)

There is a setting I really don't like in the new KDE interface and it is, as the subject says, the notification in taskbar. In KDE 3 when an event was occuring in an application, the application was flashing over and over in the taskbar with noticeable colors. Now in KDE4, there is a VERY subtle flashing (something like pale grey over slightly darker grey) for only 1 or 2 seconds. Result : I miss the notification 100% of the time.

Is this a configurable option?!
