Install another wireles driver

Hi...
I have instaled kubuntu intrepid live usb onto my usb hdd, and im runing it with my toshiba laptop with atheros ar5007eg.
Ive alredy installed a driver for that wireles.
I have a question,
will it be alright to install another wireles driver in my kubuntu, like realtek, broadcom, intel etc...
So i can run my kubuntu in whatever the laptop is and connect to wireless hotspot.

then if it do, can anyone plz link me to the tutorial to install the driver to my kubuntu...

for that you might want to install ndiswrapper and keep some wifi driver on that usb drive of yours to install when needed.....,

Your laptop has an atheros ar5007eg wireless chip, and you say it works. Unless you were to replace this chip, you can't install another manufactures driver and expect it to work.

Now, if you are refering to connecting a wireles device to one of your USB ports, that's a different question.
