WEIRD plasmoid issues, KDE 4.2 [SOLVED]

OK, so check this out...

I have seen a lot of posts about people having issues with their plasmoids not staying where they put them on the desktop. I've experienced that issue myself, but only when I'm using more than one activity (which is why I never use more than one activity, unfortunately). Not a big deal for me, I expect it to be fixed eventually.

It just got weirder though. I was testing the desktop types and changed to folder view for a second to see what it was like to have crap all over my desktop again. I couldn't stand it and changed it back pretty quickly. Now none of my stupid plasmoids want to stay where I've put them. Only one activity here, and it's acting like I have two. Help?

Update:

kquitapp plasma and restarting plasma fixed the weird placement issues.

It also killed my internet connection but I think that's because I'm using the network connection plasmoid in addition to Knetworkmanager. I had to reboot to fix that one.

I'll update again if this recurs. I hope this helps somebody!
